If beer tastings and brewery tours are your ideal way to spend a relaxing vacation, pack your bags for an unforgettable and tasty trip to Quebec. With over 300 breweries you’re bound to find a pint or four that quench your thirst.

Here are some of our favorites:

Looking for a neighborhood pub that mixes great food plus brews from all over Quebec? Isle de Garde in Montreal’s Rosemont neighborhood is the perfect stop. If you are looking for arguably the best beer crafted in town, head to Dieu du Ciel (God of the sky), a must try.

Québec City:

In the downtown area, stop by La Barberie with around 10 of their own brews on tap. This picturesque spot is great for relaxing with friends under the trees during warm summer nights.

Visit Brasserie artisanale Albion, a craft brewery that offers unique British inspired brews. These beers are only available to taste at this location!

Eastern Townships :

The Dunham Microbrewery is a newcomer on the Quebec’s beer scene, but for the past four years they have been collecting awards and were chosen as one of the Top Brewers in 2014 by the website Ratebeer.

Bières de la Nouvelle-France – Brewing Économusée features eight different brews, including four that are gluten free, and are perfect for those who are gluten intolerant. This spot is also home to the only beer economuseum in this area. Guests can see brewers creating the beers through huge glass windows to get an unparralled visitor experience.

Schoune Farm Brewery, a gorgeous spot for summer vacationers who want to frolick in the hop fields while waiting for a beer tasting. They also have a beauitful Beergarden for you to enjoy your afternoon pints.

Additional fun opportunities to taste several breweries at once:

Festival: Want to visit Quebec during the world’s largest gathering of brewers in the world event? Plan your trip to the Beer and Flavors event on September 4-7, 2015.

Road Trip: Road trip along the Route des bières de l’Est-du-Québec to taste eight breweires in one trip.
